This is 100% for me, feel free to not pay attention to my minimalism readings.

recognise benefits - as you declutter, pay attention to the good thoughts and feelings that come from it. “It’s easier to dust”, “I have more time for xyz”, feeling peace when you walk into a room.

find out why we are over buying- dig into your motivation for shopping: sadness, loneliness, boredom, stress?

limit input: unsubscribe from emails, use adblockers, watch less tv (doesn’t matter if there are no ads, you will see unrealistic, enviable lifestyles).

consider the full cost: the true cost of an item is how much life you exchange for it. (Thoreau)

Embrace gratitude and generosity: gratitude and generosity as a practice, instead of a reaction. Planned donation, time to volunteer etc.

See money differently: Your money is only as valuable as what you choose to spend it on.

live forever changed, forever free: decide today that your life will never be the same.
