Guessing most of you know what geodes are… they are cool roundish bumpy rocks and when you crack them open they are full of gorgeous crystals! I have been looking for some to put around my little tulip bed.... I have had a hard time finding them and when I do people are asking 10 dollars a rock! CRAZY cause we used to find them all the time in river beds and caves in the mid west.
The Midwest and Appalachia regions are known to contain several styles of highly coveted geodes. Kentucky, Iowa, and Tennessee are all known locations by geode collectors.
This is a person in Kentucky selling them at a reasonable price 10 a box or 8 if you buy more! So road trip this weekend! Brooks will love these rocks as he is like me and love rocks but wait until we crack one open! I am buying him a box to crack open with his daddy and put in their garden.
Today I was at Costco waiting for it to open.... usually they open 15 mins early. A man parked next to me and was telling they don’t open and I let him know they usually open early… he kept talking about wanting to trade cars… I get that a lot so I just kinda laughed it off. He said he had to run back home to get his bible for bible study.... I figured that was it! After I went in, as it did open early I hear someone yelling KAT… I looked up and it was HIM! He said I know your name cause it was on your license plate… he followed me all over the store! Kinda scared me a bit and I do not get scared! And to top it off I looked like dogs hit today! my hair was a mess… it was just weird!
