It's Been A Day in Hello

My Maine Coon cat Rose has had a slight limp in her left front leg. Last night I noticed she couldn’t stand on it at all. At the vet they did some tests on her. Neurological issues. Her pupils didn’t show much change when the light was flashed in her eyes. She didn’t really blink when the vet was testing her eye reflexes. The X-ray shows she has a vertebrae that’s impacted and has a disc slipping out of place that might be causing these issues. So, she got a steroid shot plus one to remove the little fluid in her lungs.

She’s resting on a blanket right now. She ate a little and drank some water so that’s good. I’m keeping a close eye on her. If there is no real improvement by her appointment on Monday…then we will have to have THE talk.

Sigh…this year has just began…please don’t take my Rosie from me like this.
