Week three and a total of 3.4 pounds lost. This is after drinking 28 meal replacement shakes a week, drinking 64 OZ of water a day and eating only one well planned and measured meal a day… Most of the people in the class have lost over 10 pounds, Hubby has lost 15! To say I am defeated is an understatement. It would be different if I had cheated - but I have been diligent and done everything right.

Now Hubby is giving me grief about not exercising enough. JUST WHEN THE HECK WILL THAT FIT INTO MY SCHEDULE? I am in the office around 7 AM and in classes and meetings - with a few office hours all day, not getting home until 5 - 5:30 at which time I am exhausted and just want to take a nap. My body wants to sleep but the mind can’t slow down enough to get a good rest… Funny that I used to teach people how to balance these types of things but I can’t seem to figure it out for myself.

Well, Sunday is the annual NAMI WALK. I should have about 90 students out there this year. I would love to see more, but that isn’t likely to happen anytime soon. I am thankful for the ones I have. I keep hoping my colleague with Bi-Polar and doesn’t want anyone to know, would come out. For a Psychology Professor she still can’t past the stigma. That is the whole point of the walk - to “Stamp out the Stigma!” So today as I was getting ready to run out of my office to yet one more meeting, she hands me a check for $50.00 for the fundraiser but informed me she wouldn’t be out there.... One day I will get her involved and get her out of this mind set. (cough… as if I have that much power…)

Need to get going. Those exams I had to write earlier this week, now they all need graded. Ugh.

Later - be safe.
