WEEKEND UPDATES in LIFE OF A D.O.M. WIDOWER LIVING ON THE NJ SHORE

Doris and I toured Longwood Gardens Saturday afternoon. This is a former DuPont Estate located in Kenneth Square Pa on the southern border of Pennsylvania and Delaware. It fields a fabulous display of living flowers and is just so lovely. I had been there many times before but this was Doris’ first time and she was so impressed. She now wants to return for it’s Christmas’ extravaganza. It is about a 2 hour drive so next time we make a weekend out of it. The only problem we had was dinner as it was a ” Taste of ” weekend there so we were out of luck at the better venues.
Sunday I finally received a call from John. Currently he is in a Hospital Psychic Ward being detoxed and undergoing evaluation for several conditions including anxiety. He sounds like one sick puppy and brimming over with remorse. I asked him if he had suffered enough and he said yes.
We shall see.
