Kaabooom in My Life!!!!

Life and death is funny and how it works. As a safety consultant I always make sure that whenever my crews are working that they follow procedures to avoid injury or death. But sometimes freak accidents happen. Luckily tonight we had a close call and the odds were in our favor. As the crew was working in their building that houses all the valves that controls all the oil and gases that come from it; the light blew out in it. To someone that doesn’t understand what we do or the dangers of it, it doesn’t sound like a big deal. The building that I’m talking about usually has highly flammable gases that build up in it; and with the light causing a flame it would have rocked this whole town. By luck when the light bulb blew out there wasn’t a high enough level of gas to cause this whole oil pad to explode. Its one of those situations that by time you realize what happen its to late, either you’re dead or not. If it would have blown you would have seen it on the news and defiantly not on here lol. In situations like this the only thing you can do is just laugh it off.
