ALL ABOUT FALL AND NOW MOVING INTO WINTER in Living off the Grid

Fall is my favorite season it's all about SEAHAWKS FOOT BALL Rolling around in LEAVES with every color.

SWEATER TIME!

Sleeping with the window open and feeling the cool, crisp air filtering out the stagnate air and bringing in that poignant mountain air.

Laying in bed listening to the river roar

Cool air mixing with the smell of composted leaves

Burning leaves and clean up time

Fire glowing in the old and faithful wood stove which keeps us so warm.

My husband and I cut 6 cords of wood thus far and I'm going to get another wood permit at the Ranger Station in North Bend. We really rocked out there with him doing the chain saw and me gathering the wood. We are quite the team. I like to keep warm. It get's to be zero degrees in the winter.

Starting Saturday night the snow level will be down to 3 thousand feet. We live at the that level right now...yikes!
