sick again in 2024

I’m sick again. This time though, it’s messing with my blood pressure. It’s really high and that makes me nervous.

My daughters bearded dragon had an emergency. He is okay, he had a prolaspe, and some inflamation, that he is on medicine for. She has serious anxiety about driving, and she drove herself 40 miles to get him emergency care at a vet. I’m so proud of her.

I just hope he is okay. This dragon is literally an emotional support pet, and I don’t think she will be able to finish out the year of school without him.

The stress of this isn’t helping my blood pressure either.

I hate that I can’t be there for her. I hate that she goes to school 6 hours away from me. I hate that I can’t make the world a happy safe place.

I thought those feelings would go away when they got older, but it’s only worse.
