Tomorrow.... in blackpropaganda

.... I might not be in the United Kingdom - or indeed not able to call myself British, since that suggests there is a Great Britain, which there will not be if Scotland secedes from the Union. Just when this is a possibility the forms to buy Premium Bonds now have a category where you put in your nationality. Even though born in England I have always felt better about calling myself British - and hated it when anyone, normally Americans, talked about England when they meant the whole United Kingdom. Anyway - it is all in the hands of the Scots (and others domiciled in Scotland and registered to vote).

.... I shall think that in two weeks time we should be in Spain - it should have cooled down a bit - and more prone to thunderstorms - and we will be sorting out things in the apartment from having our families out there over the summer. They put stuff away - move stuff around - and we can take some time to find it all.

....I shall be thinking of friends in pain, both at home and abroad : one in a life-threatening condition from which she may not recover - others just struggling on.
