A question: in rants

For those who date - men and women:

If you have an absolutely WONDERFUL first date.... great communication, great “chemistry”, so MUCH to talk about, find the other interesting, appealing…

Why NOT get together again? Why do men not call? Why do women still feel (as I do) that “chasing” a man is setting oneself up for failure? Why do what seem to be great new relationships die on the vine?

Why aren’t there more second dates? Was it too good and there’s no way to repeat/sustain that? Were you on best behavior and if the other person knew the “real” you, it wouldn’t work out? Did you give it your BEST shot, and have nothing else in reserve?

WHY??

I guess, it’s more a series of questions… LOL
