Dream elements in keeping it postive

For MANY years, certain elements pop up in my dreams with regularity:

1 - riding a rolling chair: usually it’s an office chair, once in a while it’s a wheelchair, but I am not stuck with it. I careen through the streets using the momentum of hills and valleys.

2 - having various apartments: there was one dream apartment years ago that ended in a BALLROOM. By a certain point, that room was taken from me, but I remembered (in the dream) that it had been a part of the original apartment. I often have more than one apartment and am stuck trying to figure out how to pay for it all. One apartment was filled with antiques - often bookcases filled with old books. One apartment was so large, there was another kitchen at the far end. One apartment opened up to a lawn.

3 - returning to college: I have had various dreams where I return to UConn and take more classes there. Although this has never happened, I’ve had so many of these dreams that sometimes I have to question if I returned or not.

4 - losing my car: I park the car and never remember where. (In real life, I don’t even drive)

5 - unable to find my room/apartment: I am either in a large luxury hotel, or large apartment building or a dormitory and am wandering up and down hallways, taking various elevators in search for the number on my key. (Maybe this relates to the losing of the car)

6 - returning to the apartment I grew up in: sometimes it’s the same, sometimes one or another of my parents is there with me, sometimes the building has been renovated to the point where NOTHING looks the same inside. Often I go to the mailbox to get my mail even though someone else is living in the apartment.
