Ian Thorpe & Ricky Martin?? in Stuff

I don’t usually talk about celebrities all that often, but when it’s all over my Facebook and even the new gay guy at work is going on about it, it’s hard to avoid.
I’m talking about this Ricky Martin and Ian Thorpe dating rumour.
I was floored when I first heard about it. Initial reaction I believe was, “Omg what a HOT couple” but the other gay guy at work was all like ‘Ricky YES, Ian EW!’ and went on bitching about the amount of issues Ian Thorpe has going on in his head.

I mean, of course I grew up knowing these two celebrities and my gaydar was going off years before both of them admitted it themselves. I have countless past Open Diary entries where I was paying out Ian for being a flaming homosexual, and Ricky, well, c’mon, seriously? Shaking his arse on stage to ‘She bangs’? The only bangs on her you knew Ricky were the ones in her hair!

So thinking about it, I think they’d be a perfect couple. I mean, they both lied about who they really were for about a decade in favour of their careers, and now the rumour is that they’ve signed a half-a-million deal with some magazine to reveal their relationship.

To be honest, I hadn’t even considered that they could be a couple. Never even crossed my mind, but I guess it would make sense given that Ricky’s always here filming ‘The Voice’ and was consoling Ian over Twitter once his (also paid) Parkinson Interview went to air. I mean, Ricky went with Oprah at least. I guess Ian wasn’t ready to be THAT gay yet :P

So this is all ‘speculation’ at this point about the ‘relationship.’ Ricky’s gotta be a fair bit older than Ian, right? Plus Ricky’s got a kid or two happening there. Be interesting to see which magazine they sell out to.
