I saw Lynne today and they were behind but not too far behind. Their whole computer system was down, not responding, not booting up, dead, dead, dead. Lynne was operating fine if a bit scattered. The two assistants, lost, lost, lost.

Review by assistant writing everything down. Off to talk with Lynne and review .Nausea, dizziness, diarrhea, High blood sugar for at least 6 months, wait, wait, back up–she has the FLU!

Yes folks all attention was centered on getting that alarming 502 blood sugar down. Flu, no wonder I felt so bad, really sick, stomach cramps, etc. So I got the clear liquid speech, some meds for vertigo, meds to take for diarrhea.

Quit the Metformin as it only contributes to the diarrhea, up the insulin injection to 20, twice a day. Check blood sugars, and so on.

Lynne took longer than usual to get the meds out, she had to hand write the labels, etc. She also gave me a pill for the yeast infection. she handed it to me separate from the other meds. She said “One pill.” and she opened the card it was on. The card showed a woman putting the pill in her mouth.....I laughed, I said “It’s a good thing you showed me this, I would have put the pill in the other orifice.” She laughed. No, it would not work there, swallow it.

Lynne also said I was about 3 quarts down in liquid and I need to catch up. Water only, no Gator-gag, no other liquid that is supposed to wipe out dehydration quickly. Sugars, etc, not good.

In other news, I learned on FB that my youngest grandson, Caden, had shattered his elbow in a trampoline accident. “Shattered” is what the bone doctor said. Daughter says net and all safety features on the trampoline were intact, just a freak accident.

After ER, they were on to Children’s Mercy Hospital in KC. One of the best children’s hospitals in the US according to daughter. She is spending the night with him, wrapped and sedated with morphine is my grandson with the meds not overtaking the pain. Surgery is some time tomorrow. She will text me to see if I am up after he goes in and call me if I am up.

Prayers for Caden. I asked my daughter how her other son is doing, but didn’t get an answer on FB. No worries. Zack is older and has always, always followed behind his daredevil brother shouting “Caden, don’t do that, Caden slow down, etc.” I am hoping he doesn’t feel responsible for this. More tomorrow with phone call with daughter.

Not much else. I did get the dog hair vacuumed off the rug. Dishes from more than a week are ini the sink and on cabinet. Can’t do them yet, maybe soon.

That’s all folks. Blessed be!
