Yah it is Friday!! Yes, it was a 4 day work week, but it usually makes the 4 days feel like 7. Wonder why that is? Anyway, it has been a very busy week at work again. Not sure what today will hold but I’m ready for a little slower work day, but want the day to get over with too.
My RLS woke me early this morning so after having a cup or two of coffee, I decided to cut out the flannel pants I am going to make for J. I FINALLY got all the seams ripped out of the old jeans and they were so worn and had been patched around the zipper that it was slow going but last night I finally had all for pieces of the jeans apart and ready to use for a pattern. I’m making the flannel PJ pants first to get specifics worked out before I start using the denium. I am really hoping the the PJ bottoms go together quickly and fit him as then I can move on get him some jeans made. I don’t plan on putting in a zipper yet as I want to get the cutting out part corrected first. I really am hoping that these work out. I shall let you know hopefully before the weekend is over.
Today is supposed to be another hot day and I have no doubt it will be. Tomorrow the high is supposed to by 75 I think they just said. It will feel almost cold tomorrow. lol
I bought more frames this week at the $Tree so am ready for another frame project and also have burlap. It will be interesting and anxious to see if the burlap is better than the fabric I used for the Cardinal backing.
I did get up early this morning but now I seem to be running out of time so need to get ready for work and then get this work day over!!
Seems like there was something else I wanted to write here, but of course I can’t think of it now.
Sorry to hear J Rivers passed. I must admit I was never a fan of hers. For me, she was paid to insult and bully others. She did zing herself, but she was known for her zings at others. I’ve never been a fan of people who get paid to insult others, even in fun. But I am in the minority I’m sure. Melissa Rivers was keeping her fingers crossed that her mom would recover. I can’t help but wonder if the finger crossing will comfort her in time of sorrow. I believe that prayer is the only answer in both situations. I hope and pray that finger crossing isn’t all she has to help her losing her mother.
Have a very wonderful Friday and God Bless
