Practices and Campus in In the Meadow

We had a fairly quiet week. Aaron has practices coming up the next few weekends for his black belt test. The kids are still a little bit nervous about Halloween as a scary holiday. The twins are quite a bit better about this than they were last year, but they are still a little afraid. We saw a house that had a line of miniature ghosts in front of it today, and that was scary. But otherwise they have been okay.

Tonight we took a walk by the lake at a local college. There were more students around than there usually are on a Friday afternoon. Maybe they are having midterms. I love walking by the Starbucks on this campus. It smells so good. Coffee smells so much better than it tastes, although I do like the vanilla latte at Starbucks.
