Jesus F-in Christ! in Give me your soul

I went to an audition yesterday. It was a dual audition for two productions: Uncle Vanya and The Last Days of Judas Iscariot. It was fun, I very much enjoyed it. I got insider information from my friend Jackie who is helping out with both that I was being considered for Judas after being facebook stalked by the director. Apparently, she just needs people who aren’t 100% white. So, they had me read for Judas and the play is so marvelously vulgar. I cussed out Jesus so bad. I was dismissed after my reading but I stayed around to talk with Jackie and because I found the other people there auditioning to be very cool people.

I just now got my an e-mail with the cast lists and I got cast as Judas! I’m extraordinarily excited! I haven’t been in a show in nearly 8 years and I’m all full of beans! The show doesn’t start rehearsing until February, though, so I’m going to be all anxious for it to start. :-)
