Stripey Butt in These titles mean nothing.

For September I decided to see if I could post something every day. I was thinking it would be nice to put up a fresh picture every day. So.... I went out and took a bunch of pics of Stripey Butt. Stripey Butt is a cat. He’s one of the power plant pussies, and he’s pretty freshly neutered - at our expense. I guess that’s ok. Can’t complain. Well I can complain but I won’t.

Stripey is a pretty cat and he has pretty good manners. He spends time in Hans dog crate when Hans is not here which is most of the time. Hans and Stripey’s shared crate is decorated with art. I took pictures of the cat art too a while back but never got them posted.

Right now I’m waiting for pictures to load. It says I’m trying to upload ten when I thought I only selected three or maybe four. Oh well. Life is an uncertain thing. The internet adds to the uncertainty.

I’m on the deck tonight. It’s a beautiful evening. We had more rain today. We are having a lot of rain. Rain is not a bad thing. After today’s rain the sky was so clear. It was an intense blue. In fact it still is. The sun low in the west is highlighting the younger of the two yard walnuts. Maybe tomorrow night’s picture?

My clothesline is back up after the tree felling. I have a load of clothes rumbling around in the washer in the basement. So I have a chorus:

• washer rumble
• crickets, other insects
• birdsong, misc. tweeting
• the sound of the tractor on the sidehill mowing thistles
• a bit of traffic from the highway
• and now the buzz from the neighbor’s ultralight plane - he’s only vaguely a neighbor, but I like to classify him as one.

I had a pretty good day at work today. We are busy. I hope I stayed out of trouble.

I came home and did my mail, and cooked fish and chips. I burned trash. I picked up Gracie’s trash. I took Stripey Butt pictures that are slowly uploading.

Again it’s a beautiful evening.

Oh I have a new great niece.. He name is Annalise Joy.
