So September has arrived. I think that September is my favourite month. It always feels like new beginnings and fresh starts. Time to start new things and go back to things left behind for the summer months, yes I like September.

The grandchildren will be going back to school on Wednesday. Yesterday, was my last summer shift of entertaining them for the day, it did not go well, as the kids are very tired and exhaused by the summer activities. My bad day with the children caused a bad nights sleep, as my brain worked on the problems of the day. So this morning I once more missed my morning swimming as I needed to get my head back together and make a fresh start.

I never ever want my swimming to feel as if I should or have to go, it must always be because I love to swim.

The sun was shinning very brighly as I opened the bedroom curtains and that has continue till now and looks like it will stay for the rest of the day, just wonderful.

Not sure if this sounds awfull but I have not once enjoyed the company of my grandchildren these summer holidays. Don’t get me wrong I love to see them and would so love to see much more of them but they are no fun as they constantly annoy each other and take pleasure in this. Yet they love each other to bits and I know they will grow up to be great friends. Am I just to old for all this.

I do love to have the children one at a time but seem we are not allowed this any more. I think it’s time to stop chatting about my summer with the grands.

From tomorrow, I will get back to swimming around 3 times a week.
This afternoon, I need to start on my tax returns, each year I hate doing this but this year is far worse then usual, as there are so many changes.

Looking forward to going to Turkey this month.
Also have a weekend booked in the Lakes early November. Doubt we will go to Blackpool lights this year.

I’m still visiting my friend from mind each week and look forward to it.

My dog, Archie, has become naught again. I solve one problem and he developes another. He has always been an aggressive greeter but now he is actually nipping me. Twice yesterday he nipped me and it just has to stop. He even greets me when we get in from a walk, which to me makes no sense.

He has also now started to get over excited when we go out in the car and has started being noisey and this is a big no,no. I have no idea his to solve this.

Enough writing for now.
