Beat Like A Dead Horse in Hello

Two milestones today.

60 days sober.
Last day of outpatient.

🥳 🎉🥳🎉🥳🎉🥳

Been on the go most of the day. Outpatient this morning then driving mom to her coworker’s (late) Christmas soiree this afternoon/evening.

Got there at 4 and got home around 8:30.

Shoes off, house shoes on, feet popped up, Icy Hot on the back and neck.
Fallout time!

Damnit boy!
I did that thing again where I tuck my foot under my leg when I sit. Lawd my left foot is aching now. I REALLY have to be mindful of me doing that. Heh, mindfulness. Something I learned from rehab. I’m trying to practice it in every day life.

I have an appointment the 22nd of next month for my exit interview for outpatient. From there they’ll set up the MRT program. I hope this is the last thing I have to do. I’m tired of the daily phone calls to see if I have to take a widdle test and the monthly visits to Judge Cleveland.

Ugh, I’m trying to position my leg so the foot doesn’t throb but I’m not having any luck.

We gotta get up early in the morning and go to the Nissan dealership. Last week the new car started acting funny and wouldn’t accelerate past 40 MPH. Everything is under warranty and diagnostic Google said it could be the transmission as they suck on Nissan Kicks. Great, just great.

Then I have to take mom by her work so she can see HR for paperwork. They’re offering a buyout on long term employees and she looks to make some bank off it but need to get her ducks in order first.

Lastly she’s got a doc appointment at 1:30.

Another busy day…joy!

Thursday I go for my monthly shot. Since I’m not actively poisoning myself I’ve noticed the meds do decrease the physical craving however my mind likes to play tricks on me. That’s to be expected, though

Mmmk, time to try and sleep now.
