Immigrations consultation meeting.. in A Day in the Life of Me

was today at 930am… we were both up at 5am for some stupid reason after going to bed late.. and me sick last night to boot… so we paid $150 to this guy for an hour long meeting in which we (finally!) got some answers to some questions we had, and found out some other stuff we didn’t know. We also found out that if we do decide to go with this company, the money we paid today gets credited towards our bill, which is normally an up front paid fee or a 3-4 pay installments. He also said that seeing as his work visa is now expired, and I am the sole income, they can and will look at a monthly payment plan for us.
It will cost $2500-$3000 PLUS the money for the paperwork..
2 tiers… we go with both out files being done WITHIN Canada, which if for any reason we get refused its pretty much over. BUT its a bit shorter wait time AND once my half of the package is done, he would be issued a temp work permit…
OR we file so that my stuff is done with in Canada (as it would have to be anyway no matter what) and his done in Australia. which means if for any reason its refused we CAN appeal, where as with the first we can’t, but its longer wait and no work permit is issued…
Damned if we do, damned if we don’t kind of situation..

THEN we had to bus it out to a small community on the city outskirts to shop-sit for friends of ours who are away at a con, it was really quiet and we were really tired, and then my boss from my ft job called…
She just found out yesterday she has Shingles… NOT GOOD. its also gone on untreated for a week.. even worse. anyway, she was SUPPOSED to go to a play tonight with another co-worker, and I had offered to cover after I was done at our friends store (about 45min total bus trip away) and she had turned me down originally, anywho… she called me around 3 and asked if she could still take me up on the offer as the pain she was in was so bad, and the meds hadn’t really worked well the pervious evening.
Of course I went in! this is the same woman who helped with my flowers for my wedding tables/arch/bouquets!

anyway, its now almost midnight, so awake 18ish hrs… lol I am worn out and have to be back to work at 930 in the morning… lol to pull a double… 930-5 at the ft job and 515-915 at the pt one… joys..least there in the same mall and only about 2min away (as fast as I walk....) lol hopefully, Saturday stays as a day off, but I have already told her to call me if she needs me.
Imma go have one last smoke and call it a night… lol
