Who came up with the bass line for “Under Pressure.” While John Deacon was Queen’s bassist, he claims that David Bowie came up with the riff, while Bowie, Brian May, and Roger Taylor all claimed Deacon came up with it himself.

I mean, I don’t know who came up with it, either. I just think it’s funny: One of the most iconic pieces of music in the last fifty years, and trying to figure out who wrote part of it is basically the Rocky roll call.
