Thats me, in all my dork self.

Thats me. Name is Chris, also known as Ekhdal. Pronoun game is He/him. They/them works in a pinch as well.

I am a 44 year old human bean from western Pennsylvania.

I am a Queer Bisexual Grey asexual person. What does that mean? I dont like fornication 95% of the time. Heck I dont like second base 70% of the time and anymore.. even first base 35% of the time. I dont care anymore if its guys/girls/enbys whatever when I date. I just recently came out at bisexual, and i’m in the closet about this. That being said even though i’m in the closet I am proud about my new found Queerness.

Things I enjoy: Board games. I love board games. I prefer less chaos in my board games and more planning. Some of my favorite games are Empyreal which is a magical train game, Millenium blades which is a Magic the gathering Simulation game, and Ultimate Railroads which is a fun worker placement game where you get so many fun combos.

Video games: Mass effect, Final Fantasy, Horizon, Griftlands, Outer Worlds are some of my favorite games, one that has come up in the enjoyment factor lately is Honkai star rail. Thats a fun one too. I prefer more sci-fi than fantasy. My favorite character in these games is Tali Zorah vas Normandy who is a cute dorky mechanic from an alien race called the Quarians who are a group that were driven from their home world by a race of Sentient AI called the Geth. Other fun characters are Parvati Holcomb from the Outer worlds who is a Quirky Asexual Dork of a Mechanic (wait, is there a theme here? nah just these two) she’s as sweet as punch and her story line is great.

I like Listening to Audiobooks. Books i like are The reckoners series by Brandon Sanderson, about a group of humans trying to take down bad people with super powers. Ready Player one and two by Ernest Cline. Basically love letters to the 80s. They are decent fun books (With the exception of about a couple chapters in RPO where the main character becomes SUPER CRINGY) Armada by the same author, basically Aliens invade, video gamer uses skills to take out aliens. Hijinks ensues. There are 6 mass effect books and while they range from OK (MEA: Initiation) to Slow as fork (MEA: Nexus uprising) to a lot of fun (MEA: Annihilation and ME: Ascension) and the other two books (Revelation and retribution) are good too. Seveneves while long is so much fun. I have some other book series i like but those are my favorites.

Sports. Ah yes. Football, other football are my favorite sports. I dont mind basketball, hockey and baseball as well (team sports) but I love gridiron football, especially the pro game. Sundays are my escape zone. I watch every game on red zone streaming, and a game on my tv, and i watch mondays and thursdays as well. I would be seriously lost without football and that is not hyperbole. College football is okay but there are too many blowouts. Even though they are in a rebuild (And traded one of their best defensive players which I audibly gasped at in Taco bell when i hear it) I am a fan of the Green Bay Packers. Have been since 3rd grade at least. I have a Packers shareholders ring. Whenever I die my ring is gonna be plopped into my ashes.
I also like association football (aka soccer) I like Manchester city FC. (right before the take over I became a fan) Obviously they are one of the best teams in Europe and they are amazing to watch. But i like watching soccer, its a fun change of pace in comparison to regular football.

Pets: I Love cats, and dogs. I have a wonderful 10 year old grumpy orange boy named Macaroni who is friendly and loving. He has no thoughts in his precious noodle but hes a good boy. He had a health scare a while ago but he pulled through. I also had a headstrong tuxedo boy named boots who passed away suddenly a couple years ago who was just a force of nature. I still miss him.

TV / movies: Eh. I like cartoons of all varieties, (Futurama is probably my favorite) Seinfeld, Hogans heroes, a bunch of game shows. And for movies.. eh. i’m not a big movie person. I like Inglorious basterds, Citizen Kane, Dune (both versions) royal tenenbaums, big lebowski and Doctor Strangelove. I am also a big Star Trek fan I love all star treks. Edit: I forgot. I love 90’s sitcoms and well classic sitcoms. I love the odd couple, Wings, Just shoot me and Newsradio.

Other odds and ends, I have a stuffed dog that ive had forever (first grade i’d say) His name is Fletcher and he is one of my most prized possessions. Another thing Ive thought of when i pass (and i know its morbid to think) I dont know if i want him cremated with me or if i want him guarding my ashes forever. I have one brother whom… Well. on good days the relationship is cool and on bad days its colder than Siberia. Right now its probably at Novosibirsk levels (capital of one of the siberian districts in Russia) Speaking of Russia, Its not as strong these days obviously but i still am kind of a Russophile, I love the history, architecture music and things like that, and obviously with everything thats happened im kind of embarrassed to be one. (heck one of the reasons I got one of my favorite games Russian (Now ultimate) railroads because it dealt with russia (Even though there is nothing russian in that game outside some cities lol, which is proven because there are 4 other games in that box and Russian is probably the 3rd weakest of them)
