Public Schools in Journal

are prisons.
There is a neat side by side comparison on YouTube that I watched years ago (no I’m not going to find and link it, do you really think I have that much energy?) that featured public -read government- schools and prisons. There were no distinguishing characteristics between the two. This includes buildings, schedules, how the inmates are treated, their access to privacy or security, exercise opportunities and freedom of movement etc. Even food.
We were on our morning walk and passed by one of the numerous government schools. I heard screeching/screaming from the open windows of a classroom. It was a beautiful morning.
I thought to myself, The system is insane, abusive, immoral, but parents still buy in and send their children willingly into it. For how much longer? I wondered. I wondered at the disparity of action, you see, not the disparity of knowledge of good and evil.
Some parents- I now refuse to believe that it is most - send their kids to government schools in complete ignorance or complete lack of choice. Most parents are not in that category. Most parents have total moral responsibility. They just continue to believe that there will be no negative consequence for them. They continue to believe that they will never be held accountable.
Maybe they’re right. Idk if they ever will be held accountable. That’s not really the end point of my reasoning, though. The end point is that most parents of children at public schools know they’re insane, abusive, immoral, and send their kids out of free will and choice, just because they know that it’s culturally accepted and no one will punish them for their abuse. That is evil.
And this is sort of without ever considering any direct abuse like hitting, yelling, intimidation or threat and coercion that most parents actively and regularly engage in.
Yet, if I have this awareness, this easy and facile use of rational reasoning that leads to a clear conclusion… Many others do, as well. And so, with all the shit in the world rn, it has a way of making our problems more real, closer, and more tangible. At least for those of us capable of reason and rational discretion. We see the worldly shitstorm and only think well, time to focus on what I can influence. And that focus does get Lazer like when everything in the world goes to shit. So we see a gap ever widening- like Galt’s gulch. The rational withdraw totally from the evil. Where are we going? To find our rational brethren and be in community. To watch the world burn in self inflicted hellfire and enjoy the fruits of our labor. To relax and be joyous in our chosen freedom from evil.
