Sign of the Gypsy Queen
I always loved the bass work in that tune. And the feelings of being who I was at the time…
Well dear diary,
It’s been a while.
Life generally is good. I have a good job that pays fairly well. I’m fairly healthy.
On the health front the Melanoma has not come back. I’m scheduled for a full body cat scan later in the month. Apparently crazy expensive. But I have some of the best insurance that a youth can buy.
At the end of the month, I’ll begin a regimen of immunotherapy. I’m somewhat hesitant about entering into this endeavor.
In my bathroom, I have 4 bottles of anti-nausea medication. Pre prescribed.
What are they trying to tell me?
I wouldn’t lie to you and tell you that I have the most interesting job in the world. It is occasionally challenging. Occasionally frustrating. Occasionally boring as hell.
I thrive in those segments of the week where I get busy as hell, and I have to bring me into bear all of my skill sets.
Unfortunately those segments of the week are fairly far and few between.
The nature of my job is evolving. That is to be expected. I am moving out of what was called “Recon” and into fiscal year modifications.
I know that’s all gobbledygook. Well let it just be said that my job is evolving?
As to be expected from me I have track while scan locks on all the hotties in my building.
I think it’s just satisfying to know who they are. It is unlikely that I will enter into another relationship in this lifetime.
But man do I like pretty.
As they said on Game of Thrones “winter is coming”.
We had a nonexistent summer. It was cool and rainy. We didn’t get what we normally get in August. The bragging rights weather. Fall hasn’t been too bad so far but fall hasn’t been too good so far either.
Makes you wonder what winter is going to look like.
Will I suppose I should take a shower, pack my lunch for tomorrow and hit the hay.
Oh by the way I bought the coolest office chair. This thing is so comfortable. But it is the nature of the beast I will eventually become unarmored.
I suppose it’s nice to know.
(This was written completely using Microsoft Word dictate. It is literally the first thing I have ever attempted to write using this functionality of Microsoft Word. So far I like it. But I spend way too much time staring at the screen making sure that it is getting my words right, and way too much time not thinking about what I am trying to say. So I apologize if this entry sounds somewhat stilted.)

I am glad to know that all is well with you. I hope your scan is perfect .
