September 24 in The Beginning

I think the Fall weather is slowly creeping in. At least what constitutes as “Fall weather” down here in southern America. Of course, it can never replicate those beautiful autumn days in the Northeast.
I finally got around to this little pocket book of the *Social Contracts* of Locke, Hume, and Rousseau that I borrowed from the library a few weeks back. It's finally nice to spend some alone time outside and just read by the water. It's soothing, it's what I've been needing. In terms of my feelings and thoughts, well those have been the same. The days are still the same, but that's alright. As long as I am alive and get to enjoy the small things, then any day is a good day.
Tomorrow there's a poetry meeting and I plan on going. I missed out last week due to my schedule but it'll give me something to do for an hour tomorrow. It'll be nice to go out of my comfort zone a little and perhaps discuss an interest of mine to similar like-minded individuals. I haven't written any poems in quite a while now, but that doesn't really bother me. I have begun to write, I think what I would describe as a novella. It would be nice if the meeting would also be about other forms of writing and not necessarily poetry. I guess we shall see.
