Worried about Jo in Hi This is Kat!

Jo got out of the hospital Friday…after being in there for 4 nights… so I do understand her feeling week but she seems so week still. Before she was week because her iron was low… they gave her an infusion so that should be good for at least a month… her diabetes was sky high but the gave her 3 units of bloods plus insulin so her blood sugars should still be fairly good. She was bleeding from varices and they banded 4 more of those…

So..... I wonder why is she so exhausted! She has been out for three days. I would think she would be getting stronger! She still does not feel like eating much! I am worried this might be the beginning of the end!

Lesions on the liver are more like tumors not little cuts like I thought.... and she has lesions on her liver now… meaning it could be cancer. Some of the times they are cancer!

And I am sure she is sipping on the whisky or a beer a few times a day so that does not help!

She is probably stage 4 cirrhosis now by what I am reading. and looks like she has been stage 4 for over a year now! Life expectancy at this stage the average is 2 years and she has already lived one year in this stage.... so I am worried! I also fear the quality of her life is now going down hill as she feels sick to her stomach most of the time. She has lost almost all her lean muscle, the top of her arm is the size of my wrist. and now the past month she has been sleeping or in been probably 20 hours a day. :(
