jo in hospital in Hi This is Kat!

I called an ambulance to pick up jo at her house. Cole called me to help get her to the hospital but he said she had fallen and he could not get her up so I thought it was best get get help there quick. I live 20 mins away from her.

She was throwing up blood and pooping blood! She was week and delusional. I met them at the ER. She was better when I left. They had 4 IVs going. they gave her 2 pints of blood. meds for the liver, insulin, and stuff to calm her belly.

Her sister in-law went to her house before the ambulance got there and she told me the drivers will probably turn Jo in for living in such filth! I have never been in her home before but I knew it was bad. she said there was beer cans and whiskey bottle all over the floors. Trash EVERYWHERE. She said it was worse than any hoarder house she has seen on TV

SAD!

I cannot believe no one in their family throws trash in a bag to dump it!

what I know: Her electrolytes were 40 her blood pressure is 80 over 51 her blood sugar was 400+ but down to 200 when I left.

the nurse told me Jo is a lot sicker than she has any idea… and well we knew she was pretty sick....so I am unsure.
I do know she is bleeding somewhere be it in the stomach or varices in her throat?
she is in ICU so they will give her good care!

what scares me is…what if it is cancer? or what if they cannot get her bleeding to stop? what if she gets infection? So many worries!
