No lights,losing the kitten in Just Life

I am lucky that I bought some lanterns just in case. Power is off in my neighborhood. My dad always told me be prepared and for that I am forever grateful..I am also grateful there is some warm water left in my water heater tank. If I look like a hot mess it’s because I can’t see what I look like. Cinder snuck under the door thanks to the lantern I didn’t step on the furry little ninja..some day my power will come back! Guess I better go to work..
