Random!!! in My Life!!!!

Can't wait to go on my days off on Monday. Been out here for 7 weeks now working 100 plus hours a week. Need a break from dealing with all of these problems. Paychecks are nice, but I don't care lol. They didn't want me to go on days off, I told them I stay for 10K.... they don't need me that bad; I just make things easier on everyone here with what I do. If they was in a bind they would pay it though. I rather take my days off and go to Cali with my wife to see friends. I can't wait for that. Its sickens me that I have paid 20K in taxes so far this year and will probably still own the IRS at the end of the year; Its honestly not fair when I know people that live off the system and have almost the same as I do in life. I'm tired of people on Facebook calling me out for the cold water challenge. I thought that fad was over like 2 months ago?!?! I've been called out 11 times now and haven't done one yet. I have a application in with a big time oil company for safety, I like my job and make great money. But why not go for a position that pays almost 1K a day. So we will see what the future holds on that. I want to buy a house with 20 plus acres of land and put cattle on it. If I got it; once I paid it off in a few years I think that I would probably retire. When I say retire I mean just take life easy but still work for fun. I think that I could get to this point in 5 years if I try hard enough. My job bores me; I watch people work for the most part and tell them what to do to be safe. I need something thrilling to happen. I miss my days when I was a paid firefighter; It sucks that the pay is crap unless if you go contracting. I think I will get into law enforcement one day and then work my way into politics.
