simplicity in Hi This is Kat!

I love how simple yet pretty this lil area is. It is on the open landing on the 2nd floor wall next to my bedroom. The elephant was my great great grandparents. I was supposed to be good luck because the trunk is up. It is probably around 150 years old. The mirror is about 80 to 100 years old and the chest is vintage one I painted. I am all about curves baby!

I thought the lack of color in the elephant was a good choice with the black and cream…
I have unique taste but I have decorated many upper scale homes in the area… I only did it the first year i moved into the area mainly to meet people and make friends :) It was a fun way to get to know people through their taste and styles of decor and then I would put a taste of something vintage or antique in special areas that people quickly fell in love with :)
