Cleaning mom's hoarder house,husband the jerk in Just Life

My mother in law Dee and I are cleaning up my mom’s hoarder home. She left it abandoned after a schizophrenic episode after her psychiatrist said she can’t live alone. She lives in my house while my mother in law and me cleans up the mess my mother created.

On my days off I would love to have fun. Instead I am bagging up the house. Today Dee and I took the over 40 trash bags I bagged took them put them in storage so her and I could see what we have left to battle in mom’s livingroom. We plan to rent a U-Haul truck to haul several truckloads to the dump next week. So far we have cleaned mom’s bedroom, and her livingroom. Her bathroom is clean but I need to fix the leak on the toilet. I need to find a new cabinet to stick her towels in. I need to install a floor and linoleum.

Next week after I visit the Dr over my blood pressure issues and medicine refills we are hauling off garbage and we are going to battle the 2 storage rooms my mom has hoarded up. These 2 rooms were rooms my brother and I lived in as children obviously they wasnt hoarder rooms till we moved out. After we moved out dad built shelves hoping to deal with moms hoarding but her habits took the entire house over after my father’s death in 2018. My dad and I used to catch her at work and haul off her garbage. Dad wasn’t there to try to control mom’s hoarding. After her mental breakdown and her visit to psych unit over schizophrenia she destroyed everything. I am now trying to patch what’s left.

Mom refuses to deal with it. She offered to give me the house if I simply clean it and care for her till death I told her deal. I am trying to clean it us for us to eventually get it ready to move back into but mom isn’t willing to face responsibility for what her mental illness destroyed.

My husband yesterday came over I was hoping he help us carry heavy things instead he complained how sick he is. That he is hungry. I asked him take the car jack to the garage. An hour later he was still watching TikTok on the swing. When I picked up the jack and carried it to the garage myself he said he hopes I get hurt. I told him if he was a man I wouldn’t have to lift heavy things. We got in another argument ran off with my car. I looked at my mother in law telling Dee I guess she is driving me home. I send him money for food told him quit being a bitch. If I offer to feed you and you refuse it’s your fault then. If you don’t want to help just say so and go home. He was upset when Dee and I told him stay home obviously we will create change at moms house without his dramatics.

I got to go to bed. 4 am comes early. I got to work tomorrow..night
