Didn't get the promotion. It's a shame but I shouldn't be surprised. It was far more likely they were going to pick someone who did more training on the Teleperformance side rather than the Apple one. I was kind of billing myself on being the "fresh thing on the menu" but I guess they were just looking for the tried and tested stuff.

Ah well. I continue my job hunting in other forays. The important thing is not to backslide. Progress must continue to be made in all aspects of my life. I'm doing well - I should feel proud of myself. I'll save off on pressing the big red button that ends the universe for now.
