Picnic,and fireworks happy 4th of july in Just Life

On the 4th of July I got time and a half to serve people breakfast. It felt really good making $15 an hour. I took my time to clean up. It wasn’t super busy and it was an easy clean up.

I took a nap after I got home around lunch time. We went to Krogers and bought groceries. We went to Little Beaver Park and had a picnic. My husband Talan grilled hotdogs and hamburgers. Emily and Jude brought drinks chips and other things. The chipmunk and a blue jay kept bumming our blueberries, raspberries and watermelon. We played cards took some pictures and listened to music. It was a fun time.

When it started getting dark we packed up and went to my mom’s. We shot off fireworks. I noticed when we were shooting off fireworks Baby the rat terrier/chiwawa mix,Turtle the tortoise shell cat and Shy the Siamese cat was all sitting in the window together watching the fireworks. Funny Shy is terrified by a running ceiling fan but fascinated by fireworks. I think they were having as much fun as we were. I didn’t see Lemon the cattle dog. I think she was over all the noises.

It was a very good day. I hope all of you had a great 4th of July.
