Busy wedding weekend. in 2014

I just realized I haven't written in a week lol.

Reason being, is during this past week of Chris not being here, I've been just... ... ... Happy? lol Like he thinks it was going to be this huge deal for me, when really, the only extra chores I have to pick up on because hes not here, is dishes and garbage. I do the garbage most days anyway, and the dishes get done with every meal when I do them so they never get overwhelming like when hes in charge of them.

He came home Thursday night, slept on the couch. I don't care. He can come back here if he wants, its his house. But I'm still going to act as though hes gone. I'm not planning around him, I'm living MY life with my kids. I'm not going to ask anything of him, nor expect anything from him. This is something I changed a while back though as to avoid being disappointed by him. Those of you who have been reading a while, know that I've done this.

However, one of my weddings was in the city this past weekend, so I did ask him if he still wanted to go with the kids and take advantage of the free trip and shop and play in the pool with them etc, or if he wanted to stay home with them instead, and I'd get my mom to bring me. He chose to come. Problem is, so did my mother. Ugh. And my goodness she was an asshole all weekend.

Like my weekend in the city isn't for play, it was for work. So her texting me asking where I am and what I'm doing, was a touch annoying lol. I didn't respond, which made her continue to text me saying "hello...hello"... which again, I didn't respond to.

Chris had respect for me and he knew I was busy. He did what he needed to do with the kids, I am extremely impressed with how he was. Normally he somehow makes it hell for me lol. I even needed him to pick up a spare memory card for me and he graciously did that without complaint and had it ready for me when I went to pick it up. Seriously, very impressed with him this weekend. He even did a bit of shopping for himself and got some jeans and a top.

All in all, it was a great weekend. The wedding was beautiful and the bride was so organized which was extremely helpful for me. She and her husband complimented me numerous times and said that I did over and above anything they could have expected of me, which makes me happy because of that stupid bitch Brittany's wedding I did in July and she was mad that it took me 13 days to edit her entire wedding (too long apparently) ... So it helps to get some positive feedback, because I know I do my job and I do it well.

I have 2 regular sessions to edit, a massive wedding and then yesterday I did a family session with 3 dogs in it so I have that to edit. BUSY BUSY! Off to read you guys first though ;)
