Facebook. in Since OD is shutting down....

So last night someone posted needing a sitter for a little girl about the same age as mine and needs care starting on the 5th. I messaged the Dad and had arranged for them to come over and meet us Monday night. We had decided on $125 a week and then he said the hours would be Monday through Friday from 7:30am-6pm everyday. Um wow I don’t know about all this. Well, this morning they were on the same page talking about these very same people and someone was saying how they are drunks, they don’t keep jobs, and never pay anyone to watch their kid.

Needless to say, I’ve decided to back out. It sounds like they have plenty of people lined up to want to babysit so I’m sure they’ll find someone and then it about 2 weeks someone will post saying that they didn’t get paid. Well, 50 hours a week is just too much of a gamble for me to want to invest my time and then risk not getting paid!!

You never want to go on Facebook to find a sitter nor do you want to babysit for anyone you find on there as well. There’s just too many shitty people in this town and I don’t want to get mixed in. I would love to find a kid that’s around my daughter’s age so she’d have someone to play with but I’d rather find someone I know and it be just like a day or two a week because then if I didn’t get paid, it wouldn’t piss me off as much.

Today is the last day of the after school program and then we have a 3 day weekend. My brother is supposed to take her for a little while tonight and then she’s to go with her big sister on Sunday for awhile. Other than that, I’m sure we will have nothing going on. After next week, we’re gonna be on our own to find shit to do.
