help in identifying this piece in Hi This is Kat!

This is a unique piece… it is silver and looks to be hand crafted. the stone is either turquoise or tumbled emerald…
It looks to be antique by the style of the setting… most turquoise is not mounted like this. I have both green and blue turquoise.... then I wondered if maybe it was emerald because that is the way emeralds are mounted????
I bought it today an an antique shop and they had no history on it.
I thought maybe someone out here would know more than I do!
