NO SLEEP TILL... in Hello

EXHAUSTION!!!

Finished Robogenesis and went as far to email the author on his website if a third book is in the works. It ends on a cliffhanger where the two AI’s are about to duke it out for control of a supercomputer located at the NORAD command center. I really liked it. I started a short story collection from Arthur C. Clarke after. I’ve only read his Odyssey series (which I thoroughly enjoyed) so I’m looking forward to reading these.

Sweet Tarts have become my new favorite candy. Ate a roll last night and tonight. The right amount of tart with fruit sweetness keeps the alcohol demon at bay. Truthfully though I’ve had no cravings today. Yay!!!

Tomorrow (today?) I have no plans again. I’d like to mow the lawn but there is a 50/50 chance of rain. Oh well. I know mom likes to take Monday’s to relax from her weekend job so we’ll both probably sleep most of the day away which is fine by me.

Made chicken wraps for dinner. I just about ate my weight in them because I only had a bowl of soup six hours prior. So, needless to say, my tummy was telling me to feed it. Soup is good, but it only carries you so far. There are two tortillas left over so I’m thinking breakfast burritos with eggs and chopped bacon when she wakes up.

I did manage to sit outside today in the sun with a cool breeze on my back and book in hand. It was a bit warm but the shade from my trees made it bearable. Got up to 86 F (28.33 C). Speaking of trees, I was examining the rest of the branches I need to cut down around the fence. The friggin’ limbs have grown through the chain links. Bah!!! I’ll figure something out. Pour bleach on that shit, kill it permanently. That sounds extreme but the roots are growing under the foundation of the house. That’s the last damn thing I need to happen. It’s already cracked up the driveway. Homeownership is a pain in the financial ass.

Anyways, alarm is set for six to call the wizz quiz line. I should turn off the lamp and try to get a few hours of sleep. Then again I might read another short story.
