Three Good Deeds in Hello

Went and widdled in the cup this morning. Even the guy administering the test was surprised I was called twice in a row.

After, I sucked it up and went to New Horizons and filled out the paperwork. Assessment is the 22nd of this Month. Good deed one.

Treated mom to Connor’s for an early mother’s day gift. So full and both have leftover steak for dinner. Good deed two

Then we walked over to Barnes & Noble and I browsed a bit. The fantasy section is right next to the young adult section. There were two young teens perusing the books on YA. One of them mentioned she wanted a book that wouldn’t make her cry. I immediately went and grabbed Terry Pratchett’s The Color Of Magic, book one in the Discworld series and handed it to her, apologizing for eaves dropping. Imagine my surprise when she went to the register and bought it. She said she read the back and it sounded interesting. Ha! Good deed numbah three down!

We’re back home now. Poor mom, her hip is killing her so we’re chilling now. Think I’ll read more.
