She is truely an Idiot in Me Being Me

Yesterday the slumlord came and didn’t two things and she did not do them well. She did clean the inside oof the heat vents and air vents but there is a lot more and she says they are clear but I know there is dust and crap where she can’t see and the furnace it’ self is riddled with dust. I know this because I have been here for 9 or 10 years and she nor anyone else has cleaned this furnnace out and made sure all the parts are working properly.
And as for all the issues here like the water damage and the crack in the floor and the mold in the bathroom will not be fixed by a person who actually know what they are doing and she is not going to fix them either.
So what I have decided is that I am just going to start keeping things clean but I am only going to do it till I am satfied and it’s good for me. And because things are starting to make noises like the fridge motor....I can now hear it all day and all night so I know that will so stop working and the oven element is starting to be blsck in some parts because the red is slowly disappearing and I showerd her yetserday and she said when the oven stops working to let her know. But the last time that happened the element caught fire so I am now waiting for the fire to start. And I had the oven on to show her the element and she freaked out because she had a major heart attack that the oven was on and I didn’t turn it off right away and I asked why and she said because it costs 20 cents. I am not sure if that is per minute of what but niow I know I will be using my oven to keep warm when I am cold like in the early am.
And she turnned off the heat and left the fan running all day and all night. She said it will even out the tempature upstairs and down here but so far the tempature is at 70 and sometimes during the day I find it reall hot and in the am I find it really cold so it’s no different for me.
The thing I don’t undserstand is if someone can do a job better why not ask them and pay them so you don’t have to especially if you don’t know how to fix it.
Oh and the pipes that are exposed in the bathroom and water dripping? All she is going to do is put a peice of wood to cover it. I tried to tell her that the same palstic that is used for pipes is better and she said no the wood is what will be used. And she doesn’t care that the wood will rot and the plastic won’t.
Oh and the wood bugs? Well she is not going to get rid of them and see what damage they have done. And I am not sure she will even spray. So all I can hope for is that the ceiling in the laundry room that has wood and instalation only will fall off and the bugs will destroy the other parts of the house like the wood floors.
So next week I have promised myself to start cleaning more and to not care how much money i waste that the slumlord has to pay and if something breaks depending on what it is I will not be telling her like I use to. She has to wait till hubby talks to her.

Onto something else…

I am finding that my blood pressure is a bit lower at night then it is in the am and I think I need to start doing more and going out more and to just pretend she is dead.
The funny thing is she thinks all landlords fix things themselves but then she mentioned my brother who has a large number of rental properties that are in condo’s and I told her he hires people to collect the rent and fix things and she just said “OH”
She has no idea how to be a landlord or even to listen to her renters. The thing I don’t get is why she insits that I am always wrong and takes 5 hours to find the issue when I have already told her?
But I did tell her that when hubby retires we will be leaving and finding cheaper and all she wanted to know was when so I lied and told her in a lot of years. See she should know how old hubby is if he signed a lease but I am thinking he didn’t. So whatever threats she makes to him she can’t follow through and it is agains the law and he doesn’t have to do shit here like mow the lawn. But he does it because he wants to and he also cleans when he feels like it.

Onto something else…

Well, it’s Friday and that means it’s left over Friday and I most likly won’t be eating for the third night because of the stomach issues I have. The one thing I have been eating is high fiber cearal and that seems to help some.

Hopefully I will get some domestic work done as I am still cleaning up the slumlords mess she made yesterday. And I am pretty sure I will feel a bit better.
Now I need to end this and get on with my day such as it is....
