Because who DOESN'T need a $4,500 cashmere bathrobe? in Who I am...

My go-to source for nightwear and the like is Derek Rose. The quality of their products justifies the $275 price tag for men's pajamas, or $185 for a robe. I draw the line at spending over four grand for a cashmere bathrobe, though. Cashmere is wonderful stuff for an overcoat, scarf or gloves, but seems somehow wasted on something I am going to wear around the house. And as I keep the house at 70 degrees in winter, it would probably not get much use anyway.
I like their Royal pattern - a navy blue base with stripes in red and lighter shades of blue. Quite dashing.
I'm not much of a television watcher, but my new guilty pleasure is the series Vicious with Derek Jacobi and Ian McKellen. They play a pair of old queens who have been living together 48 years. Their careers are pretty much over and their lives now consist of entertaining their frequent guests, making sure that their aged dog Balthazar is still breathing, and hurling caustic insults at each other. I admit I howl with laughter at many of their lines. Watching Frances de la Tour as their desperate friend trying to grope their young male neighbor every chance she gets is just hilarious.
