Strict Dress Code in Adventures in Retail Hell

My boss was called a bitch today...because she asked a man to please wear shoes the next time he came in the store O_o
Can someone please explain to me how people like this function in society! Since when is WEAR SHOES an outrageous request? Name a store, any store, that DOESN'T require you to wear fricken shoes! It's pretty damn common! Nevermind the fact that it's just nasty!

was he coming in the store to buy shoes lol I have this thing in my head like what if im robbed for my shoes I'd had to go in a stores without shoes to buy some :D

Once when I worked in a major chain restaurant...inside of a mall...a lady walked in with her dog in her arm. Our manager wasn't there (of course) so I wasn't going to say anything but seriously? We serve food.

Oh we've had a few people bring dogs in... and then act completely surprised when we tell them you can't bring dogs in here Oo Again, what stores, aside from pet stores, DO let you bring animals in!?!? Oh! And just a couple days ago we had a lady wearing a couple live sugar gliders around her neck OO
