So. It wasn't a stroke, thank fuck. She's apparently stopped taking her diabetes medicine and has no real food in the house. How long this has been going on for is anyone's guess, but we're fixing to make sure she eats properly every day.
Relief is palpable, but it's twinged with a good dose of anger, too. She's not a young woman, dammit, she needs to take care of herself!
But fuck, whew, that's a weight off. I was terrified, I ain't afraid to admit that.

Phew. I'm glad it wasn't a stroke, although it still doesn't sound so good.
My Nana very rarely eats anything, simply because she doesn't feel like it or she gets distracted and forgets. It's terrible, because she is thin and unwell and really needs to eat more. We just have to keep reminding her with phone calls. It's very difficult.
