Goals in The Wonderland Years: 2014. Done.

So. I don't think I've ever written about this.

At least a yr. ago Jessica [again, she's my. mentor] and I - well ok she did - came up w/ this thing of. weekly goals. which was each wk. to do something that's hard for us. so a few of mine have been. talking to people w/ dogs [like if there isn't a person right by the dog then i'll talk to the dog], uh. talking to someone in a café. um.......wow I forgot the others.

as you can tell i'm not big on talking to people. unless it's in a bar. which is interesting.

My recent ones have been setting my alarm. which I've done for the past 2 wks. I just don't always wake up to it. but it's also not v. loud, so. the one at my house. it's one of those travel ones. i'ma get a new one soon. hopefully. that's a lot louder. the other thing is the past 2 mornings I've gone to sleep at like 4. a.m. but i have what i refer to as 'broken sleep' [and yes i know I've mentioned this] so. like i'll wake up between 7 and 9. which actually is when most people are awake anyway. except i'm not most people. or diurnal. clearly. which wouldn't be a problem except for me that's not enough sleep. so yeah i wake up before the time that's considered 'on time' [which is 11] except. i don't get up. i'm not like, actually physically out of bed. I've always had this problem off and on. i'm really starting to think i should get some Nyquill or something.

but yeah. alarm clock goals. went off on a sleep tangent there. that was something i wanted to do prior to Stephanie bringing it up.

um. so my other goal is to. um. be more responsible. as in, put my empty soda cans in the fridge when i'm done w/ them. and not leave them in my closet. and it's always well long as i don't make a habit of it then it's alrite. yes but it's so easy to make a habit of it once you've already done it.

*oh yeah another one was to not interrupt. yeah i'm not. i'm not good at that game. i don't consider it rude i just consider it annoying. I do it bc i. um. don't want to forget what i'm going to say which knowing me i probably will being that. i have a short attention span as well as memory problems. and writing down w/e it is i'm going to say also seems annoying cause that implies i'm not paying enough attention. which ok to be honest i'm usually not. cause i'm thinking of 3,4,5 different things at once. no i'm a terrible listener most of the time. actually. for this v. reason. i'm a really good listener when it comes to talking about your issues but other than that no.

yeah i'm also not patient which is something i really don't like about myself. things would go a lot quicker if i had patience! damnit. and the ironic thing is we don't want to wait, for patience.
