Well, it looks like I can't even access my OD tonight, so no cross-posting, it's going to be Prosebox all the way. It has been a weekend. Tim managed to waste most of the weekend out in the garage supposedly fixing it when now he has just decided to tear it down instead. I'm just WHATEVER about the whole thing. All I want for my birthday is for this stupid fucking back yard to be FIXED AND DONE. I want to be able to use it, and to go out there without being disappointed that it is such a wreck. Tim has grand plans now. He is filing for the permit tomorrow to tear down the garage and extend the fence line around where it will have used to be (used to have been?). He thinks that it can be demolished in one day. And then he thinks that he can get the pool filled in easily as well. His brother is going to help him with a rented skid loader. Oh whatever, as long as it gets done I don't really give a fuck. I just don't think it is going to get done. I am massively skeptical about his tearing the garage down as well, we will have to rent a dumpster to put trash in, which is going to cost at least $300. I am not impressed. Oh the pool thing, our back yard has had this thrashed in-ground vinyl-lined pool since we moved in that was totally nonfunctional, ripped up, etc. when we moved in. Every year Tim and I have said, "We really need to just fill it in" and it never gets done. Well, now it has to get done. It is surrounded by the last bit of totally awful DIY decking that someone put up that is all torn up and falling apart. It's replacing all the fencing that makes me want to puke in my mouth a little. It's going to be expensive. At least when it's done, it will be done, and we won't have to worry about it anymore. I guess all this overtime that I'm working has to come in for something good.

Tim and I had a "date" night Saturday night. It was nice-ish. We took the kids over to Chantal's and went out to eat at Outback with a gift card Tim got for his birthday. It was alright, nothing terribly exciting. We went home, I got drunk, we had sex that was pretty good, mostly because I was drrrrunk and not burdened by the usual mixed feelings I have towards Tim. He commented that he should get me drunk more often and I was like, uh, I'm drunk every weekend, where have you been? That's what he gets for being more into his phone or reading than paying attention to what is going on around him. Sunday I cleaned while he messed around in the garage some more. Today I just slept all day while the kids were at school.

So, Jay is back in town now. He was dishonorably discharged from the Army last week? Maybe a few weeks ago. Anyway, he is supposed to start working with Tim's brother tomorrow at the bridge building company that he works for (Tim's brother, that is). He picked Savino up this morning for school instead of Eleni and he was waiting at the school when I went to pick all the kids up. He had walked the 10 miles from his grandma's house to the school because he is currently vehicle-less and license-less. I just really hope that he is not going to fuck around this time, that he is not going to put his social life ahead of his kids, that he is going to spend a little bit more time with the family and not turn back into Raging Alcoholic Jay. It is a good sign that he has a decent job already lined up (thanks to Rob, Tim's brother) and he has a lot of people who are willing to help him, so he better not screw this up. Hoepfully this job is going to keep him out of a lot of trouble since I think he is going to be working either 2nd or 3rd shift and hopefully that will keep him out of the bars. I don't know, I reserve my emotions when it comes to him, there's just no point in getting your hopes up or trying to predict what will happen.

I feel like I am forgetting something that I have to do this week, but my phone calendar says no. Hm. Oh crap, the book fair was tonight. Oh well.

I feel like this could be a good week if I can just keep my shit together, get the right amount of sleep, and stay focused. The week has started out slowly work wise, which is a good sign. I don't know, fingers crossed.
