So like I said I've been sleeping a lot. [but I've also been depressed].
And I just read that um. sunlight makes your brain release serotonin which makes you want to wake up. [either that or. were my um. bed to be by the window the sunlight would come in, were the blinds open, and probably be bright as all hell and annoy the living crap out of me]. um.
And melatonin is the chemical that makes you sleep. it makes your brain think it's night. yeah my perception of time is so weird lately. it'll be like 2 a.m. and i'll be awake and all 'shouldn't it be 7 a.m. by now? shouldn't the sun have come up by now?'. I think it's later than it actually is. and this happens even when i'm not looking at the clock every 2 mins. not that that helps. [well no. and now in other obvious news]. And even if I've been sitting for like. 10 mins. i'll think I've been sitting there for an hr. this used to happen when I was stoned which I um. haven't been in quite some time.
So like I've said. over the summer I had insomnia. and back then it was 'i'd do anything to get some sleep'. it was horrible. chronic wicked insomnia. and now that i'm getting a hella lot more sleep it's not like 'i'd do anything to stop sleeping so much'. no I love sleep. [well I would hope so being that I do so much of it now]. in a way it's a relief. it's like oh thank god i'm actually getting sleep.
