Weather, large cars and shorts in blackpropaganda

The climate change doomsters say that the real effect of the changes will be more extreme weather - and it seems more extreme now than it was 'when I was a boy'! The number of thunderstorms with torrential rain across England seems to be greater - which shows the instability of the atmosphere. I am glad to say it is cooling down a bit now, and we have had rain - so it is easier to sleep.

An issue on the news today was car parking spaces - councils overcharge for parking, and there are too few spaces - and they are too small with the large vehicles now on the roads. It seems now that everyone must have a big people carrier - the number in out town really has got out of hand - do they really need this big vehicles? Of course, sitting up above the traffic seems to give the drivers a feeling of power - especially when it is a mum taking her kids to school. I can under stand the need if you are in the country and need to have lots of space - but in a town in Britain???? Am I getting old????

The BBC are still talking up the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow - well they would since their schedules have been taken over by them - from judo to bowls, from swimming to shooting, from hockey to squash. No wonder England are doing well. And the Tour de France finished yesterday - so no chance to wallow in pictures of French vineyards, mountains and chateaux.

And I saw a lady today with a pair of shorts with PINK emblazoned over her bum. Now what does this mean? Is that the colour of her knickers? I did not have the courage to ask her.
