- What is your earliest memory? I don't know if this is a memory or not but I had a flash recently of my mom and dad fighting (I was 3 when they divorced so it must be pretty damn early. And I was trying to ignore it and decided to play with Christmas lights to distract myself.

- If you had to eat the same meal over and over again for the rest of your life, what would it be, and why? Terriyaki chicken. From Fuji.

- What is the oldest piece of clothing in your closet that you still wear? - The green London Fog jacket that's kind of like a trench coat but not. My dad gave it to me.

- What material object do you cherish the most? My stuffed cow, Gene.

- Tell about a lesson you learned in middle school - Middle school is the worst.

- Describe the most vivid dream you can remember. - When I was about 13 I dreamed I woke up from my life to find out I was a totally different person and my life up to that point was just a dream. Really fucks with your head.

- Create a character ten years older than you of the opposite sex and write about their day in first person - Oh, god, I can't believe I'm going to be 40 in 2 months. I swear, the next person who asks when I'm going to settle down and start a family is getting their esophagus ripped out.

- Describe an object in the room without mentioning it by name. - Blue, tall, holds liquid.

- Make up a recipe. - Life: Start with a cup of distilled innocence, mix in 2 tbsp dreams and a half cup of potential. Throw all of that in the garbage and add 2 tons of crushing reality to a very large cookie sheet. Bake until ruined.

- Pick a controversial issue you are passionate about – and then argue the opposite stance (ooooh…I dare you). - No. The opposite stance in this case should not exist at all and arguing for it would disgust me.

- Write a letter to your sixteen-year-old self. - Hey, it's your future self. How's it going? I bet you're enjoying life right now, huh? Do me a favor? When you reach...let's say 23...kill yourself. Seriously. Do it for both of us.

- Write a letter to your ten-years-older-than-you-currently-are self. - Hey, it's your past self. How's being dead going?

- Start with the day of the week it currently is…and then let your stream of consciousness take it from there. It's Monday, technically speaking. I'm not looking forward to Monday much but then again who does right? It's a very normal reaction to have to poor old Monday.

- What is your favorite book, and why does it speak to you? - My favorite book is a whole series and it's a fantasy epic about witches. So, I guess it speaks to my dislike of reality.

- If you could have any skill in the world (that you currently don’t have), what would it be? Just any skill at all. I just want to be good at something.

- What was your favorite thing to imagine when you were a child? Having lots of friends and doing a lot of fun stuff.

- Write a letter to the President. Without mentioning politics. Hey, Mr. President, it's some random guy you don't know. What is your opinion on jigsaw puzzles?

- Describe your perfect day. - Nah, that would make me sad, I think.

- Write a letter apologizing to someone you owe an apology to (if you don’t owe anyone an apology – make it up). - Dear, everyone I've ever dated. I'm sorry. Seriously. I never meant to be a shitty boyfriend, I just don't know how to handle relationships. And for those of you for whom things got intimate, I'm extra sorry. I clearly have no skill in that area and I've stopped. No one else will have to join you in regretting being with me. I hope that brings some comfort.

- Why do you like to write? I have lots of ideas I feel compelled to get out...but I think I very much want people to like what I write.

- What inspires you? The notion that people enjoy things I create.

- When do you feel your happiest and most complete? Acting.

- Describe your favorite sound. Rain. Maybe even some thunder...though it does tend to excite me so maybe not when I'm trying to sleep. I love going to sleep to the sound of rain, though.

- What kind of work do you like best? The kind I can actually do.

- Write about the first thing that happened yesterday morning. I woke up several times, checked the time, then went back to sleep. I didn't have to be anywhere I just didn't want to get up too early.

I really want to know what Obama's stance on Jigsaw puzzles is, now.
