Well, we have been just giving kittens away and fixing cats left and right! The way it's going, these kittens we have right now will probably be the last litters that are born to us. I am very happy about that because I don't think I can handle anymore complications, death, and just mayhem that comes with it. I love the times that are good and precious, but I am ready to be done with babies. We have also given a lot more kittens away to people we are friends with and know on FB and even family this time. It's awesome to know that we will definitely know how they are doing over time. One was given to a cousin of my best childhood friend Candace. She got a white one named Vivienne. She renamed her Snowy. She will have a great life and already there are pics on FB. Then her sister went to a great pair of girl roommates who live in Gulf Breeze, and the only people who live there are generally well off. So I have no doubt she will be well taken care of. Then.. we gave Butters to my favorite cousin Vanessa just yesterday. He is having some problems with not using the litterbox. I was sooo hoping it wouldn't happen. The bigger babies have been hanging out in the kitchen and they have been just going wherever they want sometimes. But at our house there is the smell everywhere and that's why they use it where they shouldn't. I thought maybe if he got into a nice apt. where there was no smell and he had a clean litterbox all to himself that he would be OK. Well, I hoped. He has already pooped on her husband, yes, ON. And also peed on her couch. It's so disappointing because she already loves him so much and doesn't wanna give him back. I told her a few tricks to try and said if it doesn't get better that I would some stay the night and work with him some to see if I could do any better. She is totally NOT a cat person and hasn't ever really had one, she has always had dogs. So this is all new to her. She even had to ask me if she should just give him milk or what. LOL I was like no, no milk, just water. LOL. But anyway... and then Sookie's babies. We gave Donnie to our friend Halee and she ended up having to bring him back because he cried all the time. We then realized they were just 6 weeks old and still too young to leave mama. She still wants him back, but I dunno. The poor baby drank water for like ten minutes when he got here and then went back for seconds! I mean, I don't wanna think the worst, but is it possible she is so stupid that she didn't give him water? I have no clue what to do... but I dunno. We will cross that bridge when we get there. And then yet another family member wants the girl in Sookie's litter. I am unsure about her too tho because she had a girl cat that she let go outside and she got pregnant, she put the babies and mom outside and a possum got to them, bit one of the babies, and mama killed it. And Sookie actually came from that litter. So I am very hesitant to give her a girl. She definitely learned her lesson I think, but still... I just dunno.
In other news, I got to experience what it is like to have Medicaid and I LOVE it!! I was able to get all 7 of my scripts filled for FREE!! I could get used to that!! So, I am also trying to work on things wrong with me that have gone untreated/undiagnosed for a while because I didn't have insurance. I have gone to the gyno and had a pap smear and an ultrasound done. I missed the follow up appointment for the results but they were actually able to tell me over the phone that the ultrasound was normal except for a small cyst on my right ovary. That's the side that hurts me the most, so I am not sure whether it's a coincidence or what. She did say that a cyst that small doesn't normally cause pain, so yea. Not sure. And I haven't gotten the pap results yet but when they were doing it the doc said she didn't visualize any lesions on my cervix. They didn't visualize them either in 2009 but it still came back with "high grade lesions" so yea. Have to see about those results. I am sure I will post about em when I get em. I have a doc appt. with my regular doc tomorrow to see about the bone spurs on my feet. I would like something done about them now that I can. They have gotten pretty bad. I just dunno if they have the xray machine in the building they are in. When the flood happened, they were forced to move into another building across the street and will be there for two years while they renovate. I hope they did transfer things like that. Surely they must have. Well, we will see. I am sure I will update tomorrow with what was said/done. Bye!
