Aloha Friday in Talk Story

Aloha...

Yesterday I went to the Curry County fair... the wild-side show was very nice (wild baby animals)... the kids doing stunts on their BMX bicycles was pretty neat... but my favorite had to be the Zuzu acrobats... a group of African performers (who by the way... have performed at the Texas state fair for the past 13 consecutive years)...

Of course there was the Artisan hall... with lots of crafts... and different exhibits though-out the fair... as well as viewing the bunnies... sheep... goats... pigs... cows... and horses...

Oh yeah... the food: Funnel cake... a corn dog... and shared a huge order of curly fries with friends (burp)...

The sun was out all day... not too warm... with a nice gentle breeze...

And of course (especially for me) seeing old friends and meeting a couple of new ones as we wandered around the grounds...
