Tesco tonight for groceries. The salad section was practically cleaned out. No red peppers. No parsley. No tomatoes. These are the trials and tribulations of grocery shopping in the evening.
I bought Kombucha. I keep trying to enjoy it, much like green tea, thinking that it’s healthy for me, but I just cannot get on board for whatever reason. I’m the same with spirulina and hemp seeds. I want to love them and I know they’re good for me but it’s just not happening. I should just give up. Kombucha tends to upset my gut!
Lunch with Jessica tomorrow. Meeting at 1 pm. Then a quick visit to Louise. She’s just had her second baby. So, I want to pop in quickly and congratulate her and Luke on their new arrival. (Hopefully I won’t hear too many gory details about the birth.)
Tim (work mate) and I are going to a comedy club in the evening. Last time I went it was with my Polish friend Kinga and the humour didn’t translate well at all. I spent most often night trying to explain the jokes. But Tim’s from Essex, so it should be fine.
No Sunday plans so I’ll probably just have one of my reset days. And I found a TikTok recipe for American meatloaf so I want to try that out. The recipe called for a round of Boursin cheese (French) … sounds a bit unusual and not at all American, but hopefully it will be delicious. I haven’t had meatloaf before!

I have never tried kombucha. I noticed that just because something is supposed to be good for me I cannot for the life of me force myself to acquire a taste for it. If I do not like something even if it is good for me, I will not eat or drink it period.
